Chaplains in Schools placed its first chaplain at HOPE Fidelis July 1, 2016. A chaplain builds Christian relationships with the scholars, families, teachers and community and discovers the best way to share the gospel with the hundreds of children, family members, and teachers the school touches. A chaplain is a spiritual resource for family members and staff. He contacts families to pray for them, involve them in Bible study, and connect them to a faith community. A chaplain prepares and delivers weekly chapel worship and faculty Bible study, counsels staff and parents, and is involved in parent and community events.
