Ministry Expands for 2020-21 School Year
Thanks to Jesus for More than Doubling Chaplains in Schools’ Ministry!
All praise to Jesus! It has been an unprecedented difficult year for schools and churches, but through all that has happened, doors have opened so that next year over 2500 scholars will be served with the gospel of Jesus through Chaplains in Schools.
God used your prayers, your gifts and your connections to open the doors of 3 HOPE Schools in Milwaukee: Caritas, Semper and Prima, to have a chaplain serve in each one. Each of these schools is a K4-8th grade school with at least 500 students attending. This addition means Chaplains in Schools now serves 7 campuses that will have an estimated 2500 students and 250 faculty. The chaplains will also be serving the thousands of school family members as they reach out with the gospel.
Your support in the past helped Chaplains in Schools train interns in summer schools that are now serving as our new chaplains. Meet our new additions: Chaplain Keri Jackson (pictured below), Chaplain Jacob Seelman (pictured above) and Chaplain Intern Khalil Nash (pictured below).
With this amazing blessing of growth we are praying to Jesus and asking you to continue to step up and support this explosion of sharing the gospel. Please forward this message to someone you might think would be interested in hearing this good news.Invite Chaplains in Schools to come to your organization and share its story. Give a gift of thanks or start a recurring gift to seize this opportunity.
