Simon D. Johnson is a student in the staff minister program of Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN.
“Words cannot express the joy I had as a summer intern! The age old saying, ‘You’ve never worked a day in your life if you love what you do,’ is very applicable here! Every day I came to my two sites and loved every minute of it! I was able to meet with teachers and students while building relationships! Through the Holy Spirit, I was able to talk to a family who was looking to have their children baptized! The baptism will be on August 24 of this year! I thank God for allowing me to have this opportunity to get to know so many amazing people and their stories. I know everything I was able to accomplish was because the Lord and the Holy Spirit allowed it. For that, I thank God!”
